Electrified Fencing

How does it work?

An electric fence consists of an energizer, fence wire, UV Stabilized bobbins and earthspikes. Together this forms a pulsed high voltage open loop with an "intruder" being the completing link.

When someone makes contact with the fence , a circuit is completed and the fence delivers a short, sharp pulse of energy. this pulse is what delivers the pulse.

When touched for average 3 seconds or when a live wire is cut, the fence will go in alarm which will sound the siren.

Foliage touching the fence will reduce the voltages which will make the fence less effective. Always ensure that foliage and plants are cut away from the fence.

An electric fence runs on a back-up battery which offer approximately 8 hours of operation during power outages.

An Electric fence can also be linked to your home alarm system sending signals to your armed response.
